Gilbert Temple open house

This is a very exciting time to live in Gilbert Arizona. January 18- Feb 16, 2014 we had a open house for the public to see the beautiful temple. We got the kids out of school for the event. I was a tour guide and volunteer on Wednesday and Friday mornings. It was a great blessing! I loved being there during the week and sharing my love for our Savior. I met so many wonderful people every day. That was  my favorite part. In the short 40 minute tour, I made friends with so many people. Some of the older ladies would hug and kiss my cheeks. It was such a great experience!
I love how this big brother is so wonderful and kind to his sisters. What a blessing to have a family.
I love my family!

I love to see the Temple, I'm going there someday!

The Big release!

After 5 years serving as Bishop of the Chaparral ward, Grant was released. He was not happy about it. It was really hard. It had become his life. Now what is he going to do with his time? He misses his friends! This Bishopric was so much fun! These men knew how to serve the Lord but doing it with lots of laughs and lots of joking around. It has been a few weeks and Grant really misses his friends. ALOT!

Grandpa Dayley birthday

Crazy! My dad turned 70 years old. To celebrate the big day we met at their house for a BBQ lunch and then went to the park to play a competitive game of kick ball. All these teenage boys, it gets pretty intense. All in good fun though. Everyone was at the party, except our Hermana Coon who is serving her mission in Uruguay.  So proud of that girl!
If there is a tree... Annie is climbing it!
Oldest to youngest: Katie Coon (on mission), Jacob Dayley, James Coon, Colton Dayley, Braden Shumway, Chandler and Dawson Dayley, Tate Dayley, Carson Shumway, Annie Coon, Lila Shumway, Gage Dayley, Morgan Dayley, Sam Shumway, Porter Dayley and Hannah Coon.

After the kick ball game they boys played a football game.
Happy Birthday Dad! You have always been such a kind, loving father. I was just thinking about you and remembering how good you were at bringing home gifts. You always shopped for Mom's dresses. There was a dress store in the Tri -City Mall. You bought Jen and I dresses there too.  At Christmas you would go to Dillards and buy 3 large makeup boxes, full of makeup. It was a thoughtful gift. One that I loved!  I love you Dad!
