This is Grant's favorite picture of Katie! He loves her giggle and hand over her mouth.
Our "Super sisters"
Yesterday, we had 5 baptisms! It was excellent. Our sweet investigators made the decision to be baptized! It is seriously the most rewarding experience to see these people that you have spent hours with, teaching them, developing relationships and friendships with, watching their testimony and knowledge grow little by little, and then seeing them enter into the waters of baptism! WOW! Takes my breath away! As they each came out of the water, I held their towels for them and gave them each a big, huge, wet hug. Each of them had the biggest smile on their face and they said, "Yo so que soy una hija de Dios! Wow the spirit was so strong. So grateful i get to have experiences like this that help increase my own testimony. I know this gospel is true with all my heart. I would give my life for my Savior!
"I feel like I say this every week, but every week the days just get better and better. Seriously, there are miracles every day. Hermana Ots is the best companion ever and together we are studying the life of Christ. I love learning about my Savior and his acts of charity. We are gaining such strong testimonies of small acts of charity that really change people's lives. We have this family, Familia Gonzalez, that are so wonderful. We have taught them, baptized the father, Raul, and his son, Sebastian. But the mother, Janet, didn't want anything to do with the church. We have prayed and prayed for her, invited her to family nights and members homes, taught her, born testimonies, dyed her hair, given her piano lessons, literally everything you could possible imagine. Miracles happen everyday and I know without a doubt the Lord listens to our humble pleading prayers for help. She came to church yesterday and told us that she is ready to be baptized!! We are seeing miracles in this family. They are poor and don't have much, but they have the Gospel in their lives, and that is all that matters.
