Soccer and American girl doll store

First game of the spring season!
Hannah score her first GOAL!
Her team won 8 to 0
This season she is on a new team... HOT SHOTS.
Her coaches a 2 men and they know soccer
and mean business.
They will teach her a lot this year.

After he game we drove to Scottsdale and went to the American Girl Store.
That store has everything for the life of your doll.
It was so cool, Grant thought he could spend all morning long looking at it all.

Hannah LOVED the 50's diner. It was only $450!
Annie had a great idea... we could make a diner out of card board boxes.
Hannah didn't think that was a good idea.
Look how cute that doll is in her 50's poodle skirt!
We have 6 American girl dolls and 4 bittie babies.
We also have a huge tub on clothing.
Here is the tree house for your doll.
Where do people put all this stuff in their houses?

Needless to say, we had a wonderful time at the American Girl Store!

Friday night Date night

Look at this HUGE pile of family names that Elder Coon has sent us! They all need their Temple work completed. We are keeping busy trying to keep up with Elder Coon.
Friday night Annie and I went to the Mesa Temple to do baptisms for 16 people. (the names elder coon has given us). It was Annie's first time to the Mesa Temple. We were waiting for our turn, really there wasn't anyone else waiting only us, Annie noticed her Science Teacher at Cooley middle school was the man in the font going to do the baptisms. She whispered in my ear.... "That is my science teacher!" He saw her and smiled, she saw him and smiled. It was quite funny.
That same night Hannah and her Dad went to her school for the valentines dance with Dad. My car was getting the paint sealed and waxed that day, so we only had 1 truck. We dropped Hannah and Dad off at the school with their bikes. They went to the dance and rode their bikes to the yogurt store afterwards and then rode home, About 4 miles. That was fun, except Hannah should have worn a jacket she was cold riding home after the sun went down.

50 years

Happy Anniversary!

Flagstaff- snowbowl ski

Grant, Annie and Hannah went skiing in flagstaff during the school week. Rachelle Lindblom put together a "Home school" group. The ski resort has a special deal for field trip groups of 10 or more... $27.00 for the lift ticket, ski rental and 2 hours of ski school. Grant was all over it! Ron and Tiffany went also. It was so warm they didn't need their coats or gloves. What a fun day and a great memory.

Elder Coon update -

Elder Coon has been serving in Indiana for 6 1/2 months. He was serving in Martinsville for the first 6 months. He is now in Greenwood, IN. South in Indianapolis. It is a big city with lots of people. He is working hard and teach lots. But most of all he is growing as a missionary! Every week I can feel and see his love for our Savior and knowledge of His gospel blossoming. I am proud of this valiant young man! Here are a few pictures from the last 6 months.

MLK day in Flagstaff

We all went to Ron and Debbie's home in Flagstaff to play in the snow!  There was a lot of snow for Arizona (maybe not Utah). Playing with cousins is just FUN.

First, we found a sledding hill. It was crowded with people wanted to play in the snow on their day off of school.

The Boyd's brought a go-pro and we took some video of us going down the hill.

The newlyweds...
Cute Hannah...
Annie and Jolynn

After a while we wanted to ride the snowmobiles.
We found a mountain off the beaten path, we parked and walked/rode the sled to the mountain.
The WIND was so cold and strong, it made it hard to enjoy the sledding. I couldn't help but think of the pioneer families crossing the plains during the snow storms. I was cold, and I had a warm coat! Amazing the strength of these people!
