Our family rented bike in Tahoe and enjoyed the cool outdoor weather. It just nice to be outside enjoying activities.

Thursday night was the family skit night! Each family prepares a skit to perform in front of everyone. Talk about good times! This year we had Grant Boyd, the funny man, join our family. We based our skit on the ultimate funny brother... Ron Coon. He has so many things that are funny about him. We decided to focus on 3 things...
1. The way he works out at the gym. He is loud! Makes huge grunting sounds as he lifts weights. He and Grant have done the same workout for 25 years. Grant is sick of the routine and tries to change it and Ron is not coordinated enough to learn new moves.
2. If Ron sees you drinking filtered water he will let you know how bad that water is. It must be spring water.
3. Every time there is a chocolate cake or pie, Ron will find it and sneak the piece from the center. (the best part). Then he is a messy eater and has the evidence all over his face. When he is confronted about his sneaky ways he can not hide the evidence. Chocolate on the face!!!!
The whole room was erupting in laugher! We all love Ron but love to make fun of him. He is even laughing.
One morning we all went hiking down to a beautiful lake and had a picnic!

We were not prepared to play in the water. We were hiking not realizing we should have brought suits and shoes to play in the water.
Niki with Isaac, Hannah, Jolynn and Richie Coon
The weather was PERFECT! Sunny but not hot!
We found a beautiful park right next to the lake!
Boy do they look like sisters, all the same color hair. Hannah's hair is blonder though.
I love these girls! Sisters are the BEST!
The "right" & "left" pole game!
I saw this fun game on our pioneer trek so I went to Lowes and got 24 poles to bring to our summer activities. Turned out to be a great game!
Kristy won 2 games in a row!

Eating dinner at the beach!
Both Aunt Cath and Grandpa Coon don't like there pictures taken. So we sneak around and take them anyway.
Cousins are the best! It is fun to see everyone growing up, going on missions, getting married and starting their own families. Everyone who has married has picked great spouses. I am sure it is fun getting use to such a crazy, loud, energy and lots of chiefs in the awesome family.

The Coon Reunion was June 28- July 1, 2016
The best part of the reunion is on the last morning we have a testimony meeting together before we leave. I think because we play and laugh together, and we even get frustrated and sometimes feelings get hurt. When we feel the spirit together and share our love for our Savior and Heavenly Father and the great plan of happiness for families. It does something magical. It binds our family together. It gives us something to hold on to, it makes all the cousins close and it is awesome to be apart of.
