Annie has graduated from ALA high school!!

Annie's senior year was completely different, she spent the last 4 months of her senior year at home. Not doing school, but doing seminary everyday, no prom, no senior ditch day. But with all this Annie was still happy and positive! Luckily she did not have any senior year finals.
Annie received the "BRIGHTEST SMILE" award for the senior class!
$1000 scholarship money

Annie received her VL club graduation scholarship. (Virtuous lips club) She received her $1000 and kissing basket. Inside the basket she got gum and mints, mascara, perfume, lip gloss, and chick fil a gift card. All in fun! She also received some kissing advice on how to kiss for the first time. She laughed and we all had fun. She spend $600 on a laptop for college. Annie is an A+ girl! She has a hug heart and a contagious laugh. She is friends to all children and babies. It does not matter where we are, the children find her and love her.
Annie is going to Chandler Gilbert Community College for the fall/spring semesters, 2020-2021. The summer of 2021 she is going somewhere in this world to teach English to children with the International Language Program. ILP for 4 months. We will miss her badly! But we are so proud of her. She has been a delight to have in our family

The year 2020 was a strange year. It started off just like every new year. In March the girls were out of school for one week so we left for our spring break vacation. While we were out of town the whole world went crazy. Covid 19 or Corona Virus hit and everything shut down. All the grocery stores ran out of supplies, forget getting any toilet paper, soap, eggs, milk. The isles were empty, the lines to get in the stores were longer. Once in the grocery store you waited an hour just to scan your items and pay. I have never seen anything like it. After spring break the children never returned to school. The schools and churches were cancelled. We were now to have home church, we were given the privilege to administer the sacrament in our homes with our families. Our Prophet President Nelson spoke to us and told us this to will pass. I thought to myself, "Oh course this will pass." I thought it will be a few weeks and things will be back to normal. It is now 6 months later, August 2020 and we still walk around with face masks if we want to go to store, our children are not in school yet and we finally are back to church with strict precautions; we must social distance- 6 ft apart. We can not sing, only listen to the hymns, we must wear masks to protect us from germs. This is getting OLD! I am over this... The government leaders believe that 300,000 people are going to die from this disease. But studies have shown over the past 6 months the .001% of people are really dying. You must get sick (just like the flu) but 99.9% of people recover.  The media is causing so much fear in the public. I believe when the presidential election is over on November 4, 2020 everything will go away. I pray Donald Trump will win and become our President again for the next 4 years!
