Update of Hermana Coon

 Katie was serving in Progreso for 8 1/2 months. This is her first area. So loves these people! You come just see and feel her love for them. She was sad to go and they were extremely sad she was leaving.

 I LOVE the look on Katie's face. She loves so much!

I love being a missionary mom. My Monday morning are sacred to me. I love reading her letters. Its the highlight of my week! I am so happy and proud of my valiant daughter. She is a light! You can see it shining in her countenance!

 Sled down the hill and the Dad's pick you up on the snowmobile and take you back to the top of the mountain. This mountain has a great slop. It is long and steep.

 Hannah is dying of thirst. She can't go any farther. I tried to tell her that all this snow is just like Bahama bucks! She finally tried it. 

 There he is... my man on his snowmobile. I like!

 It is hard to believe that my kids are getting so old! I am a mother of "big" kids. CRAZY!

 Paul Coon drove his suburban out of the parking lot and onto the snow. He drove about a mile to the mountain we were sledding on. The sun was out and the snow started to melt, the suburban sunk in the slushy snow. He was STUCK! Luckily we had some tie downs and 2 snow mobiles. They pulled him out with lots of effort. Never a dull moment when Paul Coon is around!

 Rebecca is married! Her husband is Jacob. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on 

March 8, 2014.

Sunday night we all wrote Hermana Coon a letter to put into her care package. It is so fun having a missionary in the family. I have had brother and tons of nephews go on missions, but to have your own child out serving the Lord is a huge gift and blessing. We love our Mondays! Getting our emails and pictures from her every Monday is the BEST!

The Makeover for Hannah

 Hannah has been growing her bangs out for 1 year. They are almost the length of her long hair. She has a very sensitive head and naturally tangly hair. It hurts every morning to get her hair brushed and cute for school. It was time for a hair cut. She is thrilled for her new look.
