 Our last hug goodbye...

 Kade, Rhett, James, Chandler, Riley

Jill Brown & Jill Coon sending our sons off at the same time on their missions. Scottie & James have been friends since 3rd grade. They are reporting to the MTC together.
Bitter sweet day. A little bitter and a lot sweet.
A mother a hard time letting their children leave. Because it goes so fast! Time feels like a dream as you look back at your little ones. Now they are all grown and when they come home from their mission they will be a man. It will be time for them to find their wife and start their family. Lots of wonderful blessing lay ahead.

Our favorite elder...

Elder Kapua from New Zealand is our favorite Elder ever!
He and James have worked together on splits and have become such close friends.
The exchanged ties and sign the back of the tie for the other one. Elder Kapua took off the tie he was wearing and gave it to James.
James left the next morning and he wore Elder Kapua's tie. What an example he has set for James.
Leaving his testimony and last thoughts in Elder Kapua's journal.
The sad thing...
Elder Kapua was called into out ward in January 2015. He was called out of the congregation to introduce himself the same day Katie was giving her homecoming talk. He has been in our ward for 6 months.  Over the last 6 months we have become really close to Elder Kapua. Tomorrow August 5, 2015 Elder Kapua is being transferred to another area. Funny thing... he is being transferred on Katie's 22nd birthday.

Farewell party, July 26, 2015

On Sunday, July 26, 2015 James spoke in church and did a fantastic job! He spoke on the priesthood/ missionary work. He taught straight from the scriptures about his favorite... Ammon. How he was a strong and powerful man, yet he was nothing without his God. He bore a powerful testimony about his Savior and how he as a young man of 18 years old has been called of God to teach and preach the gospel. I felt the spirit and was so happy and proud of my son.
We had a family dinner from 4-6pm. Then cleaned up and had a friend get together from 7-12pm. So many kids came on Sunday night. We counted 130 people! It was crazy fun and crazy hot! The air conditioner was pumping its heart out! I love James friends. He went to Williamsfield High. But had friends everywhere... Highland, Perry, Higley, Desert Ridge. It is such a great group of friends! The youth are getting better and better!

What a beautiful day! It was such a quick engagement. Heavenly Father gaves us blessing and miracles all along the way. Everything just fell into place. The ceramony was so special. Sitting next to my best friend/daughter. Katie has been a special/valiant spirit from birth.  Dreaming of the day she would be married in the Temple. Grant Boyd is the perfect man for our daughter. He is so kind and loves her so much! We have truly been blessed by our Heavenly Father.

I always wanted 5 kids, now I have them!
