September 2016

Grant and the Coon brothers had a "man's adventure" in Utah. That same weekend was our ward campout. I said to Hannah, "Do you want to go on the ward campout?" She replied, "What is a ward campout?" She is nine years old and has never been on a ward campout. So Annie, Hannah and myself packed our truck with very minimal needed supplies and drove to Airplane Flats to our campout. We have our mattress to sleep on and our little popup tent. We went to chick fil a for dinner and brought up a couple snacks. We had a great time, we felt empowered and independant. We woke up after sleeping OK, the ward provided a dutch oven breakfast & fruit. We played uno, a scavenger hunt and a craft. Sat around a visited with the ladies in our lawn chairs in the shade. When the sun started peeking over the trees, we loaded the truck and headed home.  Pretty fun to hang out with these 2 cute girls!

One Wednesday and Thursday the rented RAZORS and flew around the west desert in Utah. Boy did they have fun!!!! Tons of Fun!

On Friday and Saturday they raced their cars around the Larry Miller race track. These guys love speed and competition!

Some of them went to dinner at night.

After 5 days of being apart I am glad he is home!
