Memorial Day weekend

Our family has shrunk. We have our 2 girls, but they are a lot of fun! We loaded the car and drove to Jerome Arizona. Crazy town built on a hill. Lots of weirdo's, art stores and hippies. It was a lot of fun!
We spent some time in this awesome Kaleidoscope store. There were so many interesting things to see. This is a picture of our family through a Kaleidoscope.

Lots of hills and stairs to climb!
Then we drove to Williams, AZ to see BEARIZONA. Talk about cute bear cubs. They were active and climbing trees and wrestling each other. I took video of the other animals. Wolves, big bears, & elk. We drove with our windows up through the bear den.

There was a section of farm animals. Which I find very funny. We city people take our families to the zoo so they can see animals. They are not exposed to animals much.

We drove home Sunday afternoon, to miss the car traffic coming back to the valley. On Monday which was Memorial Day we went to a cemetery to remember those who have served and sacrificed so much for our freedoms. The grounds were so beautiful with all the flags flying in the breeze.

Bahama Bucks one of our favorite shaved ice treats!

WF highschool graduation!

  James graduated from high school!
We had a family dinner before graduation with Jenny and Rick's family and Grandma and Grandpa Dayley. Then we all went over to the high school together.
James is the only boy in our family. We couldn't ask for a better brother. He makes life so full and fun for his sisters. We will miss him so much when he leaves for his mission in 2 months.
James 18, Annie 12, Hannah 8
Katie and Grant missed the celebration, because they left to sell pest control in Houston, TX.
James and Braden have grown up together. They went to the same high school. We love Braden too.
Grandpa Dayley 70, James Coon 18, Grandma Dayley 69
Both James and Braden earned their $1000 scholarship for graduating a member of the VL club. When our kids were little we made a deal with them. If on graduation day they never had a steady boy friend/girl friend and hadn't kissed anyone they could earn $1000 cash on the graduation day. Both boys did it(along with Katie too). They dated and dated A LOT! Tons of girls! Boy did they have a fun memorable high school life.  I wish I would have had this awesome challenge when I was in high school!
Jenny, Braden, and Rick Shumway
James graduated with honors and a GPA of 4.2
 I love my family!
Taylee Cole one of James friends that is a girl!

James had an awesome group of guy friends. They all have their mission calls.

Cassidee Wengert is one like of the guys. Well, a very pretty guy. She is so athletic she really hung with the guys a lot.

The high school turned the lights off the field. It was dark about 15 minutes after graduation. Which was weird!
One of the after graduation parties. We made ice cream sundae troff's with home made fudge and caramel. It was quite awesome!
They played games and included James little sisters. These kids are so great! Then at midnight they went to the next party, breakfast at 12midnight.
